All 29 CalemDrift Raid Bosses and Where to Find Them

Ancient Chromatic Dragon King, the level 50 final raid boss in Dragon Sanctum

By the developer

CalemDrift has 29 raid bosses, one for every hunting zone, from level 1 to 50. Every raid is solo. You go in alone, and if you win you get a shot at legendary loot and your class's mythic set.

Each kill also unlocks that zone's Drift, the corrupted version of the zone. That part matters more than most players expect, so it gets its own section below.

How raids work

A raid doorway torn open in a hunting zone, the way in to a solo raid boss

  1. Hunt a zone. Keep killing and a raid doorway will tear open. The combat log tells you: "A magical doorway tears open nearby. Something dangerous waits beyond."
  2. Go in before it closes. Doors do not stay open forever.
  3. Beat the boss. Raid bosses ignore resists, so bring your best gear, not your Drift resist pieces.
  4. Unlock that zone's Drift. Killing a zone's raid boss opens its Drift Zone. See the Drift Zones guide.

Revenge raids: go back to a zone you have outgrown and clear its gray monsters, and the zone sends its defender after you. The log warns you first: "The weaker creatures are stalling, buying time for something far worse."

The Sanctuary is the safe hub. No monsters, no raid boss, no Drift.

The last column is the toughest of the three creatures that only spawn in that zone's Drift. They do not exist anywhere else in the game.

After the kill: the Drift

Kill a zone's raid boss and its Drift unlocks. Turn it on and the zone changes. Same map, corrupted art, monsters with prefixes like Drift-Touched, Painforged and Worldreaver, and three new creatures per zone. Drift monsters scale to your level, so even a starter zone stays dangerous.

The reason to go: Drift elites, named rares and Drift bosses drop Drift Shards. Forge those into a Fractured Drift Rune at Runecraft and you can give your hero a permanent +1 to a stat. More in Shards and Runes.

While a zone's Drift is on, its raid doors stay shut. Turn the Drift off when you want to raid again.

FAQ

Are raids solo? Yes. Every raid in CalemDrift is you against the boss. I built it that way.

Why can't I find a raid door? Doors only open from hunting in a zone. They also stay shut while that zone's Drift is active.

Do I need to kill every raid boss? No. But each one unlocks its zone's Drift, and Drift is where Drift Shards come from.

What is the hardest raid boss? The Ancient Chromatic Dragon King is the final-zone raid boss in Dragon Sanctum. Difficulty depends on your hero and gear.
